The Universitat raises more than €5,000 on the charity run for Ukraine

The proceeds have been given to the Spanish Committee for Refugee Aid (CEAR) and will be used to buy various kinds of materials for the Ukraine refugees.
Last Saturday, April 30th, the charity run for Ukraine was held by the Universitat de València on the former Turia riverbed. 500 people of all ages participated on the competition, which was 5 kilometres long and had its starting and finishing point at the terrace in front of the Palau de la Música.
The €5,226 raised in total have been given to the Spanish Committee for Refugee Aid (CEAR) and will be used to buy various kinds of materials for the Ukraine war refugees.
This initiative from the Universitat de València is part of the UV’s Action Plan with Ukraine, a compendium of initiatives and actions in various areas aimed at providing support and assistance to this people in a serious situation of vulnerability.
