Registration open for the solidarity race with Ukraine organised by the Universitat de València

The Universitat de València has organised a solidarity race to help the Ukrainian people. The race will be held on Saturday 30th April from 10 a.m. Registration is now open and all proceeds will go to the Spanish Committee for Refugee Aid (CEAR).
The initiative is part of the actions of the “Universitat de València with Ukraine” plan, which includes support for students participating in mobility programmes, actions with refugees and volunteering activities.
The start and finish line will be located on the esplanade of the Palau de la Música. It is a five-kilometre race that can be run or walked by people of any age, adults and/or children.
Registration can be done at: www.megustacorrer.com and it costs five or 10 euros, depending on the possibilities of each person. In both cases, 0.50 cents will be charged for registration made with TPV. The deadline for registration is Thursday 28th April. In addition to the registration fee, an additional donation can be made. There is also the option of acquiring a number 0 for people who want to make a donation and cannot participate in the race.
The numbers for the race, which will not be competitive, will be handed out at the UVsports' office (Blasco Ibañez Campus - Menéndez i Pelayo Avenue, 19) on Friday 29th April from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On Saturday you can also pick it up at the esplanade in front of the Palau de la Música (race area) from 8 to 9:45 am.
