The event will take place on 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 24th and 27th Octobber in the afternoon.
In this collaborative activity, participants will form teams and will have to propose innovative solutions to challenges that will be posed to them on different topics related to agri-food, with the aim of responding to the demands for innovation in the agri-food field. During the conference, an entrepreneurship workshop will be held in which guidelines will be given on how to create a business plan to put the innovative idea into practice in the chosen challenge.
The first 50 students enrolled in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of their Degree, Master’s and Doctoral programmes, and graduates from universities in the Valencian Community who finish their studies after 1st June 2020 will be able to participate in this activity.
The best ideas will be awarded prizes, whereby the winning team’s idea will receive a prize of €1,500 and tow runner-up prizes of €1,000 will be awarded. In addition, each Universitat de València undergraduate student will receive a certificate of recognition of 1.5 ECTS credits for participating in the activity, which can be included in their academic transcript.
The members of the winning teams will have the opportunity to incorporate the idea as an innovative project in the High Technology Incubator in Sustainable Agri-Food AgrotecUV.
