The Student Representatives Meeting is a space for training and interaction aimed at improving resources and skills for active participation and governance. It is aimed at members of the governing bodies and associations with representation at the Universitat de València and is organised by the Student Delegation of the Universitat de València and the Information and Promotion Service for Students (Sedi).


Year 2021-2022: 5th Representatives Meeting

The V Trobada de Representants will take place on Saturday 5th February, from 9.15 to 14.30 h, at the Centre Cultural La Nau (carrer de la Universitat, 2, València).


Content

The event will begin with a welcome to participants, lunch and an interactive welcome activity, with the participation of the Student Delegate. Afterwards, there will be an activity around the performance, led by Alicia Villar, lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the Universitat de València. Finally, each participant will take part in one of the four workshops on offer:

  • Know the rights and duties of students and make yourself heard. Taught by Paula Sala, Deputy Trustee of the Universitat de València.
  • Student governance at the Universitat de València. Taught by Andrés Boix, Deputy Secretary General of the Universitat de València.
  • Communication skills in the context of student representation. Taught by Fani Grande, journalist and writer, specialist in communication.
  • Conflict management in the context of student representation. Taught by Irene Verde, lecturer in the Department of Educational Theory at the Universitat de València.

In addition, please attach this completed document in which you must choose the workshop you wish to participate in from among the four on offer.

Admission to the meeting and to the chosen workshop will be in order of registration. Admitted students will receive an acceptance e-mail, which must be confirmed, and more specific information about the event.
