Academic, scientific or professional interest:

In an era marked by the digital revolution, there is a growing demand for people with complete mathematical training who also have engineering methodologies to contribute to the development and use of information and communication technologies. The double degree program provides a strong training that combines these two aspects, also providing the necessary skills and abilities to understand and exploit the existing interrelationships between mathematics and computer engineering.

The training acquired by graduates in Mathematics and Computer Engineering provides a job profile with a broad capacity for employment and adaptation in very diverse and cutting-edge sectors, both related to computing and ICT in general as well as the financial sector, research science, teaching or data analysis, and statistics.

Worth Noting:

This program consists of 351 credits distributed in five academic courses. The training includes 12 credits for the double degree final project and 12 credits for business practice. Upon completing the studies of the double degree, graduates will obtain both degrees: Degree in Mathematics and Degree in Computer Engineering.

The subjects will be studied mainly integrated into one of the groups of the degrees in Mathematics and Computer Engineering. The content of some subjects has been adapted to avoid repetition and facilitate the training of students with an optimal itinerary. In addition, the degree in Computer Engineering has the international quality certification EUR-ACE®.

The possibility for students to participate in international and national mobility programs is foreseen.
