This degree provides general instruction in different basic subject areas and a specific training in the field of chemical engineering. The importance of the chemical industry in the global economy justifies the demand for professionals with knowledge of science, technology and economics and with the skills to be able to apply it in the development and manufacturing of chemical products.
This degree entitles graduates to work as industrial technical engineers, and therefore the skills (graduation profile) are defined as established in Order CIN/351/2009. The final project allows the student to apply the skills that they have acquired and expand on their general abilities such as interaction with professionals or the drawing up of technical documentation.
