The Facultat d’Economia has pioneered the implementation of International Double Degrees. Since the GEDE and GEE programs were launched in 1990/91 the students from the Facultat d’Economia have had the choice of spending two years at a partner university and after completing their studies obtaining both degrees.

An International Double Degree is a specific study path established between two universities located in two different countries, which allows a student to earn two official degrees upon the completion of the program.

Double Degrees are considered to provide graduates with a competitive advantage on the labour market and allow greater mobility among countries.

Under the current 4 year degree structure students from the Facultat d’Economia follow their curriculum in Valencia during the first two years and the third and fourth year at a partner university.

Candidates must have passed at least 90% of the ECTS credits of the first two years. Previous to the selection process the students must have accredited the level of foreign language required by the partner university (Some host universities require two languages: English and German; English and French)
