This piece uses “Las Meninas” by Velázquez as its main conceptual source. Enigma, protagonism and spectator represent the main vehicle concepts, concluded from an investigation into the theories and speculations about the mysteries proposed by the canvas. Translating these concepts into a stage piece and maintaining, at the same time, the air of “Las Meninas”, with sound and movement as means, is the aim of the proposal.

The work of its creators is based on stage research into their specialities, movement and sound. Since 2019 they have been researching the line between both disciplines, developing the pieces “RECORD: qué nos va a pasar?” (2021) and “Nicolasito Pertusato” (2022), thanks to creative residencies at El CorralitoxTNT, La Caldera, Dansa València, Universitat de València, Graner Barcelona and Migrats Dansa 2023, Valencia, where they are developing their latest project.

This play has been awarded with the Premi Migrats Dansa 2023
