The General Foundation of the Universitat de València and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía held the seventh edition of the Course Les Arts a la Nau VII: Introduction to Opera VII, addressed to university students and bachelor’s in arts students.

The students will assist to four Previews up to 28; in these sessions all the audience  who assist to the opera house  is under 28 years of age, as a commitment of the Palau de les Arts to encourage the younger audience  to love opera.

Specifically, students will assist to performances of the following titles:  La Bohème (December 7th), Don Giovanni (February 27th), L'incoronazione di Poppea (May 9th) and Ernani ( June 4th ).

In addition, students will attend a didactic session about each of the operas (December 2nd ,  March 1st , May 4th  and June 1st , respectively), guided by the music educator Ramon Gener, who will explain the most important parts of each piece. its location in the context of the production of each author and the history of opera.

The duration of the course is 30 hours, and the registration fee is 40 € for students of the Universitat de València and 48 € for students of other universities or centres of Bachelor artistic education. The registration fee includes tickets for the performances and the didactic sessions.

Registration for the course is open and will take place online from  October 3rd until  November 29th 2022.
