The Degree in Finance and Accounting is a new degree offered by the University of Valencia in response to the needs generated by the recent changes in present-day economy and businesses. Although it is a relatively recently qualification in Spain, it is widespread in European and English-speaking universities. The degree offers a general education about the world of business and economics. Specifically, it provides students with a comprehensive and specialized knowledge of finances, accounting and taxation.
This degree complemented with a series of training and academic activities after graduation is one of the best ways to attain the qualifications and professional accreditation necessary to work in the field of auditing. Because the degree is designed for graduates to enter the workforce, students must carry out external internships in the fourth academic year. These internships consist of 24 compulsory credits. Students must also complete a final project based on the internships taken. This project is worth 6 credits. You can also study a part of this degree in English.
