José Vicente Pérez Cosín, social worker, doctor and graduate in sociology, master in local development and management of social services. Lecturer at the Universitat de València. Director of the department of Treball Social i Serveis Socials (2011-2017). She teaches in two levels: social work (research, diagnosis and evaluation; community social services, children and adolescents) and nursing (health and social work) and five postgraduate courses: social welfare: family intervention; Socio-sanitary care to dependency; Territory and environment and local development planning; In this last masters has been its director. His research experience focuses on the analysis of public policies in welfare systems (Childhood and Adolescence, Community Development, Active Aging, etc ...). He is a senior researcher in the area of ​​social cohesion of IIDL - UVEG (it is the IP of the group Social Services Community); Directs doctoral theses in the programs: "Local Development and International Cooperation" and "Social Sciences". He has directed European R & D & I competitive projects and research contracts. He is an expert evaluator of ANEP and AAC. He has published scientific articles in national and international impact journals, registered in prestigious institutions such as: ISI-Thompson Reuters, Scopus, Latindex, Redalyc, In-Res, Dice-Cindoc. He has published books and book chapters in prestigious publishers such as Tirant lo Blanc and PUV of the Universitat de València. Participates as an expert evaluator in scientific journals in the area of ​​social work and social services, local development and nursing. He has been Vice-president of the first international congress of the social work area. And it is usually part of doctoral theses courts of Spanish universities.

He has directed and defended, to date with the maximum qualification, nine doctoral theses. He has trained pre-doctoral researchers with public funding of the National Predoctoral Programs (FPU) and Autonomous Programs (Val I + D). It has been awarded by the Generalitat Valenciana (AVAP) with the first prize of prospective research. He has obtained positive evaluation of his research accredited by the CNEAI. He is Vice-President of the Conference of Directors and Deans of Social Work and Social Services of the Spanish Universities.
