Bringing together the heads of the different universities in this type of event helps to make stronger the connections between the members of the alliance.

After a weekend of discovering local delicacies, the famous Hospices de Beaune and the vineyards of Burgundy, the FORTHEM delegation went to the university site on Monday to attend the official speeches of the President of the University of Burgundy and local politicians, including the Mayor of Dijon, François Rebsamen.  All the rectors then took part in a grand parade through the university grounds. After the event, they shared a meal with some of the region's traditional dishes.

The FORTHEM Alliance wishes the University of Burgundy a happy 300th birthday!
